Kendyl Román

Mr. Román graduated from BYU with High Honors, receiving a BS degree in Computer Science in 1982. Upon graduation Mr. Román joined Dialogic Systems and quickly became a project leader and software development manager. Mr. Román was Chairman and CEO of KAR Enterprises from 1986 to 1996. He was also a founder and executive of Diventures, Inc., for several years during that same period. Mr. Román was the Vice President of Engineering at The Carl Group, Inc. and a board member and CTO of IntraCom Corporation. He serves as Chairman and CEO of MediaFrame, Inc. Mr. Román has played a key role in engineering and project management for companies such as Sun, Hewlett Packard, Compaq (Tandem), SGI, Centric Media, Apple, IBM and Amdahl. Mr. Román has been very successful at developing new departments within both large companies such as Hewlett Packard and Amdahl, as well as small companies such as @Home and TMT Inc, by determining needs, establishing organizational strategy and staffing requirements, and recruiting top notch teams. Mr. Román has been a court appointed expert.

John Livacich

Mr. Livacich has supported NASA's research and development since 1983. He started his R&D career at Ames Research Center holding positions ranging from research hardware inspection to systems safety engineering. He has preformed system analysis on complex prototypes, test apparatus and has also served the agency on high profile accident investigation boards. In April of 2001, Mr. Livacich's responsibilities grew to encompass NASA space flight projects, specifically, payloads and experimental flight hardware development for both shuttle operations and long term space flight missions aboard the international space station. He is currently engaged in patent development for NASA. When his career and academic pursuits allow, his free time is spend in the outdoors. Mr. Livacich is an avid outdoorsmen and bow hunter with over 40 years of hunting experience. He has taken dozens of youth on wilderness and river adventures. He has a major in manufacturing and a minor in business management from San Jose State University.
